Stunning Landscape Photography
The aim of a landscape photography must surely be to capture the essence of the
natural environment in all it's breathtaking beauty , at the same time freezing
a moment in time special to himself. The miracle of technology enabling a three
dimensional world to be preserved in a two dimensional format of landscape photography never ceases to
amaze the photographer, who needs a certain amount of luck to be in the right
place at the right time to produce stunning results for landscape photography.
Improved Landscape Photography
Now, with digital cameras and the ability to alter images already captured, the
value of images taken on film with the best quality lenses is enhanced and the
aperture control and art of composition through the viewfinder classifies the
photographer as artist. The panoramic format lends itself to most landscape photography
subjects and the wider angle view involved provides a freedom of expression not
so easily achieved by 35mm cameras. Composition becomes more critical but
provides a much more satisfying result in panoramic proportion, but care must be
taken to keep the camera horizontal to avoid the convergence of vertical lines
and bending of horizontal lines parallax.
Tripod Use With Landscape Photography
The essential use of a tripod allows longer exposure times providing greater
depth of field and detail that extends beyond the range of the human eye and
creates great photography. One
panoramic landscape contains at least 3 separate photos and, with the ability to
scan photos, and the use of computer picture programmes to zoom into an image
,even more hidden details can be explored to advantage.
