Edzell Castle. The seat of the Stirlings was once the most spendid castle in Angus. The oldest part of this fine Tower house dates from the 16th. Sir David Lindsay,Lord Edzell, added a spacious walled garden which has a bath house and the wall itself displays a wealth of symbolic sculptured panels portraying Cardinal virtues, the Liberal Arts,and the Planetry Deities.
