East Scotland Coasts

East Scotland Coast | A breathtaking selection of east coast photos online. The Eastern seaboard of the coast is less dramatic than the west than from the east but still offers the jagged stacks of Duncansby in Caithness with the island groups of Orkney and Shetland having similar terrain involving high cliff scenery to the north. The Moray Firth and Dornoch Firth in the north and the Firth of Tay and Firth of Forth in the south are the significant indentations off the North Sea coast. The coast is dotted with attractive fishing villages and ports such as Pennan ,Crovie ,Rosehearty, Collieston,Stonehaven in Moray and Aberdeenshire and Crail, Anstruther,Pittenweem and St Monance in Fife. In East Lothian, Aberlady, Gullane, North Berwick and Dunbar offer similar attractions with the Isle of May, and Bass Rock featuring bird sanctuaries of international importance. Great range of photos of Scottish east coast.
